On the occasion of death of Patriarch Alexei II, the IEUS chairman, Ayatollah Ghaemmaghami express his condolences to the Patriarchs in charge in Moscow, Berlin and Hamburg.On the death of the venerable Alexei II, we express our sincere sympathy to all sisters and brothers of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Alexei was a respectable man who strived to spread the understanding and tolerance between different religions. His death is not a loss only for the Russian Orthodox Church, but also for all those whose hearts beat for friendship and mutual understanding.
